Isabelle was the author and editor of The Purl Bee, an online journal hosted by Purl, seller of natural materials and tools for handknitting and sewing, until November 2007. She worked with the knitters, quilters, and crafters at Purl to create projects for a wider audience on the Internet. The Purl Bee, which launched in August 2006, receives an average of over 2,500 viewers per day. Isabelle also wrote a bi-weekly newsletter for Purl, delivered to nearly 16,000 readers.
